Noches de Paz – A Warm Start to 2025 in Breña Alta

From January 17th to 31st, 2025, the town of Breña Alta hosted “Noches de Paz”, a cultural and artisan market held every evening at Plaza Bujaz, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The event brought together local craftspeople, food vendors, and community activities to extend the holiday spirit into the new year. Inspired by winter traditions from across Europe, the initiative aimed to support local businesses and artisans while creating a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.

Among the exhibitors, Maru-La Palma stood out as a brand of handcrafted handbags, thoughtfully designed and made on the island. Their signature Blossom Bags, known for their distinctive style and flawless finish, drew significant attention from visitors seeking high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces. Maru-La Palma’s presence added a touch of contemporary design to the artisan fair, reinforcing the value of locally made creations on La Palma.

Strong attendance, positive feedback, and the warm glow of lights gave “Noches de Paz” its unique charm – and marked it as a memorable opening to 2025 for Breña Alta.
