Maru-La Palma at La Palma Fashion Week 2024 – Craftsmanship, Style and Island Identity on Display

From November 13 to 16, 2024, the island of La Palma became the epicentre of Canarian fashion during the newest edition of La Palma Fashion Week, held at the beautiful Museo Insular in Santa Cruz de La Palma. Under the slogan “A fashion getaway to paradise”, the event was organised by the Cabildo de La Palma and public agency Sodepal, as part of the Isla Bonita Moda programme.

Among a vibrant mix of designers and creatives, Maru-La Palma stood out with their signature handcrafted #BlossomBags, made on the island. Their presence added a refined accessory touch to the shows and reinforced the growing presence of Canarian-made fashion on the national and international scene.

The fashion week featured runway shows, exhibitions and networking opportunities with renowned names such as Pedro Palmas, Duyos, Helena Rohner and Diazar, along with guests like actress Hiba Abouk, top models Ariadne & Aida Artiles, and fashion personalities from across Spain.

Maru-La Palma used this platform to highlight the value of local production, craftsmanship and sustainable design, proving once again that La Palma is a hub of creativity and cultural identity in the world of fashion.
